Must-Sea TV – Octopus

Octopus, 24" x 36" — An ode to my mother. Growing up, it was just the two of us, and we didn't have much. But we had Jacques Cousteau. Every time The Undersea World came on, she'd save up for a cardboard pizza and a 2-liter of 7-Up, and I'd lie on the floor in front of our tiny TV. This octopus is still tuned in. My love of wildlife started on that floor, and so did this painting. Painted entirely by hand in acrylic. 100% human made, no AI. Signed by James Gardner, aka Firestone Jim.
