Technically a Char – Brook Trout

Brook Trout, 18" x 24" — Technically not even a trout, it's a char, but try telling that to anyone who's caught one in a mountain creek. That marbled back pattern is called vermiculation, and no two fish wear it the same way. Every squiggle of it painted by hand. No AI, signed by James Gardner, aka Firestone Jim.
